Hurling

Ellistown has captured its first hurling trophy. The Under 12 hurlers won the South Board hurling league having been unbeaten all year. This great achievemnet is a tribute to the hard work by all the players and to the enthusiasm and organisational skills of Richard Sutton, aided and abetted by Niall Whitely, Pat Heffernan, Stephen Byrne and Mick Barry. The team has gone from strength to strength and competed in an all county Division 2 blitz held in Broadford on Sunday May 30th, losing out in the final to an excellant Celbridge team.
