This is the official website of Ellistown GAA club . Ellistown is situated in south Kildare between Kildare, Rathangan and Monasterevin. The club has a proud football tradition and caters for teams of all age groups from Under 6 to Senior. The club has boys and girls teams and competes in all available grades. The club has recently started hurling at Under 8, 10 and 12 and look forward to continued growth in the ancient game.
The club has invested considerably in pitches, floodlights and dressing rooms and are immensely proud of their home venue, which for most of the year is in full use by local sports people of all ages.

Ellistown Under 15 League Winners. Ellistown defeated local rivals Rathangan in the Under 15 League Final played in Rathangan on December 13th 2009. The teams were never separated by more than a point or two throughout the game. Rathangan edged ahead in the closing minutes and looked to be in control, before Ellistown team captain Graig Butler ripped through the home defence to score a dramatic and spectacular last minute goal to win the league trophy for Ellistown.
